There will be a new Q in the James Bond universe if colleagues of Quentin Tarantino’s get their way.

At a 25-year anniversary screening of “Reservoir Dogs,” Tarantino collected a Sundance Next Fest Institute Vanguard Leadership Award in Los Angeles, while Tim Roth led the conversation about how interesting it might be to see the game-changing director do the next 007 film.

“What fun that would be and we would all be lining up for that one,” according to Roth, who worked with Tarantino on “The Hateful Eight.”

Roth said a Tarantino Bond flick would be the “goriest” 007 movie in the spy series’ 55-year history. He also said “it would also probably be the wittiest Bond ever.”

Daniel Craig set to return as James Bond for a fifth film

Roth says sign him up to be a Bond villain opposite Daniel Craig if ever that comes to be.

“Oh yeah, I would love to do that,” he said.

Michael Madsen, who worked with Tarantino on “Kill Bill” in 2003 and appeared in the 2004 Bond flick “Die Another Day,” said that’s a plan he’s like to see shaken and stirred.

“He would be good,” Madsen said. “I have got to make friends with Daniel Craig so I can get in it.”

“Django Unchained” star Walter Goggins thinks that Tarantino would certainly give a Bond film a different tone.

“So often Quentin is not given credit for how important he is visually as a filmmaker,” he said. “He invented his own language. No one writes like he does. It is always magic.”

Tarantino himself shied away from Bond talk, but also appeared flustered when asked about his next project – a reported examination of the Charles Manson murders that rocked the world in 1969.

“It’s being misrepresented as a Manson film – that is all I can say,” he said.
